Tom Brady slapped Logan Paul at Fanatics Fest.

WWE shared footage of the viral moment on its official X account, which shows the 48-year-old retired NFL star slapping the 28-year-old influencer in a tense moment on Friday (July 17) at Fanatics Fest 2026 in New York City.

As seen in the video, New York Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns stepped in between the two along with some security to pull them apart.

Why did Tom Brady slap Logan Paul?

The slap was a culmination of a months-long argument between the two.

According to Bleacher Report, the two men clashed before when they played against each other during the 2026 Fanatics Flag Football Classic in March. The disagreement stems from when Logan said he thought his time in the WWE made him as athletic as NFL players.

During the actual moment on stage, the pair had continued to trash talk one another and that led to the eventual slap.

Logan later posted about it on X, writing, “This happened bc I was roasting Tom for beating him in flag football. And he tries to smack me?? Horrible example for the kids. Aura -100. Blocked. With a torn tricep.”

Tom quoted Logan’s post and said, “I tried America… will try again next time I see this nerd.”

He also shared a separate post with the video and called Logan a “dork.”

The slap also spawned rumors that Tom could step into the ring with Logan soon as he said on Thursday he wanted WWE president Nick Khan to call him about entering the WWE.

“I feel like, I’m retired from football, have the opportunity to go out there and showcase that I’m still a little bit of an athlete,” he said. “My boy Gronk‘s done it, I’ve seen Logan Paul do it. I think I could get in there for at least one match, right?”

Last year, Tom had another viral moment at Fanatics Fest when he and Rob Gronkowski were tossing around the Lombardi Trophy and it broke.
