Simone Biles Brings Goddess Vibes to the 2026 ESPYS in Corseted Gown and Diamonds Alongside Husband Jonathan Owens

The Olympic gymnast went for the gold on this year’s red carpet

Simone Biles is making a glamorous return to the red carpet.

Biles, 29, attended the 2026 ESPYS on Wednesday, July 15 in a champagne-colored gown with a strapless corseted bodice and voluminous high-low skirt. She accessorized with a mega-carat, dazzling diamond choker and wore her hair in a deep side part with polished curl.

Biles attended the event alongside her husband, Jonathan Owens, who opted for a chocolate-brown suit with satin lapels and a eye-catching brooch. The couple first connected on a dating app in 2020 and tied the knot in April 2023.

In April, Biles attended the Laureus World Sports Awards, which landed her with a glam bill so high, she joked she would be stepping away from future formal events. She said she spent a staggering five figures on glam alone for the event.

Biles even revealed on her Instagram Stories that she had to be sewn into her feather-covered gown before heading to the annual awards ceremony. She was styled in a Cong Tri minidress covered in sharp ivory feathers, paired with a gold clutch, gold jewelry and matching Ivory pumps. She said the look cost her a total of $23,000.

Biles is a decorated Olympic gymnast who has been awarded 11 medals at the 2016 Rio Olympics, 2020 Tokyo Olympics and 2024 Paris Olympics. She has amassed seven gold, two silver and two bronze medals. Her achievements have made her the most decorated U.S. gymnast. 

At last year’s ESPYs, Biles stepped out in a custom midnight blue sequin gown created by Zac Posen in partnership with Athleta. The glittering floor-length design highlighted a square neckline and open back, crafted from the exact same material as her go-to Athleta Transcend Tee.’

She took home two major trophies that evening: Best Athlete in Women’s Sports and Best Championship Performance.

This year’s ESPYS are hosted by comedian and Saturday Night Live star Marcello Hernández in N.Y.C.
