Meghan Markle spotted in UK for first time since move as she mingles with fellow A-list transplant

Meghan Markle surfaced in the United Kingdom on Monday, mingling with fellow celebrity expat Ellen DeGeneres at a pub.

The duo were spotted chatting at the Three Horseshoes near Burford, Oxfordshire, along with DeGeneres’ wife, Portia de Rossi, in photos obtained by Page Six.

The Cotswolds outing marked the “Suits” alum’s first time being seen in public since relocating to England with husband Prince Harry and their two kids in August.

While Page Six previously confirmed a sighting earlier this month of Markle at Soho Farmhouse, a members-only retreat, she was not photographed at the club.

On Monday, however, the actress was seen “chatting and laughing” with DeGeneres, 68, and de Rossi, 53, at the 18th-century establishment.

According to an eyewitness, Markle bid the couple, who settled down in England in 2024, goodbye before departing.

Their A-list friendship has made headlines in the past, with Markle even attending DeGeneres and de Rossi’s vow renewal in 2023.

On Monday, Markle cut a casual figure in a white pants and a light blue top, with her sleeves rolled up to her elbows.

The Duchess of Sussex wore her hair down, completing her look with white sneakers and a pair of sunglasses.

Markle’s rep did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The “Deal or No Deal” alum, notably, has remained out of the spotlight in recent weeks while Harry, meanwhile, stepped out for back-to-back events.

The Duke of Sussex’s first official outing was at the Invictus Spirit Gala Dinner & Awards on Thursday.

The 42-year-old, suited up in a tuxedo, told People at the event that it felt “good to be back on British soil,” where he and Markle landed with their two kids — Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5 — last month.

Harry was all smiles at the launch of the INSPIRE education program the following day, and he went on to attend the WellChild Awards on Monday.

At last year’s charity event, Harry dropped a major hint at his and Markle’s relocation to England while chatting with singer Joss Stone about her move back to their homeland.

“He was saying how wonderful the schools are here and how important community is for children,” she revealed in September 2025, saying the prince felt “drawn to” return.

Harry and Markle had been living in Montecito, California, since 2020 — in the same neighborhood DeGeneres and de Rossi lived in before their UK move.
