Jennifer Hudson Pays Tribute to Matthew Wright, Reveals Late ‘Ellen Show’ Producer Was On Set With Her Ahead of His Death
Jennifer Hudson is paying tribute to the late Matthew Wright.
The 45-year-old Oscar winning actress/singer and talk show host took to Instagram to honor the producer following news of his sudden and “unfathomable” death at 52 years old.
Matthew was a producer on The Ellen DeGeneres Show for 16 years, and according to Jennifer, helped launch her own talk show, which films on Ellen‘s old stage.
“So saddened by the loss of Matt Wright, one of our former producers who helped launch @jenniferhudsonshow,” Jennifer captioned the above post. “He was just back to visit on Thursday for our Halloween show!”
She continued, “He made such a huge impact on so many people in this industry and beyond! My heart goes out to his family and loved ones. Rest in peace, Matt!”
