Mckenna Grace Clarifies Headlines About Why She Won’t Do ‘Hyper Sexual Roles,’ Says It’s Not Because of Disney Princess Dream
Mckenna Grace is clarifying comments she made about the kind of roles she isn’t going to take and the dream role she has for herself.
The 20-year-old Hunger Games actress is going viral because she said she’s not going to do nudity or “hyper sexual” roles, with the reason attributed to her dream of playing a Disney princess one day.
The comments were made in Mckenna‘s new cover story for Cosmopolitan. She posed in her underwear on the cover of the magazine.

Mckenna Grace’s original comments that went viral
Mckenna was asked, “I’m curious—are there any roles, inside or outside of fandoms, that you’d say no to?”
“At this point, I definitely don’t do nudity or very hypersexual things,” Mckenna she responded. “I respect anybody who can, but it’s terrifying to me. I don’t know if that’ll ever change. It’s not like I only do wholesome things — my character literally gets gutted by Ghostface in Scream — but my dream is to try and be a Disney princess someday.”
Mckenna Grace clarifies the comments
Mckenna wrote a new statement on her Instagram Stories to clarify her comments.
“The two quotes being used right now in these titles are unrelated,” she said.
Mckenna continued, “I said at this point in my career I think I’m uncomfortable doing something but I respect everyone who does – and I also have a dream job! I’m not uncomfortable doing nude scenes / hyper sexual roles simply because ‘I want to be a Disney princess,’ it’s just because of my own personal boundaries and the level of comfortability I have with that sort of thing right now at this point in my life!”
“Silly that it’s become such a source of conversation! So many more important things to talk about,” she concluded.
