Zayn Malik Hospitalized, Cancels Multiple Appearances for ‘Konnakol’ Album Promo

Zayn Malik has been hospitalized.

Hours after dropping his fifth solo studio album Konnakol on Friday (April 17), the 33-year-old “Sideways” singer took to his Instagram Story to reveal that he is “unexpectedly recovering” in the hospital.

“To my fans – Thank you to all of you for your love & support now & always- been a long week and am still unexpectedly recovering,” Zayn wrote over a photo of himself laying in a hospital bed. “Heartbroken that I can’t see you all this week, I wouldn’t be in the place I am today without you guys and am so thankful for your understanding.”

“Thank you to the incredible hospital staff of Drs, nurses, cardiologist, management, admin and everyone who has helped along the way and continue to,” he added. “You are all legends! Big big love xx z”

As of right now, Zayn did not disclose why he was hospitalized.
