Tyga and Madelaine Petsch Are ‘Going Strong,’ Have Spent Time Together with His Son: Source

Tyga and Madelaine Petsch are getting serious.

A source close to the couple — who were spotted recently on an “affectionate” date at the opening night of Scary Farm at Knott’s Berry Farm theme park in Southern California — tells PEOPLE exclusively that they’re “going strong” a year-and-a-half after first sparking romance rumors.

“They’re really happy and she’s been spending time with his son too,” says the source of Tyga’s 13-year-old son King Cairo (with ex Blac Chyna).

The Riverdale star, 32, and the 36-year-old rapper, real name Micheal Ray Stevenson, were first photographed together sitting courtside at a Los Angeles Lakers game last February.

Days later they attended a party at Bar Marmont, where they were seen spending time with Petsch’s former costar Lili Reinhart and her boyfriend Jack Martin.

Around the same time, Petsch made an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast and demurred on her relationship status.

“I am at a place in my life where I’ve been a public figure for 10 years and I’ve tried to navigate my private and my public lives for a very long time, not very well,” she told host Alex Cooper. “And the reality is, I know I’m on a show where I should be talking about my relationships, but like, I’m not going to.”

While she declined to comment on the speculation, the star did acknowledge she’s looking for “consistency” when it comes to a partner.

“I think that’s one thing I learned is really important: consistency in a partner. Kindness. Love. It’s like, honestly not that hard, I think, to be in a good relationship. Communication. Support for my career,” she said. “Trust is really important.”
