Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt Split but Are Still ‘Working on Things’
A source tells PEOPLE the couple is focused on “figuring things out together” as they navigate parenthood
Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt have split but are still “working on things” together, a source tells PEOPLE.
“Pete and Elsie are working on things,” the source says. “They want one another to succeed and be happy.”
According to the insider, the couple’s relationship has experienced ups and downs before. “There have been points where they’ve split and have gotten back together,” the source explains, adding that it’s not clear if they will reunite again.

PEOPLE reached out to their reps for comment.
The update comes after The Sun reported that the couple had split five months after welcoming their daughter.
Last month, a source told PEOPLE the pair were actively trying to navigate relationship struggles together following the birth of their daughter.
“There are issues, but they’re trying to figure things out together,” the source told PEOPLE on April 30. “They’re adjusting to parenthood and working through the process.”

The insider added at the time that their daughter remained “their top priority.”
Davidson, 32, and Hewitt, 30, were first romantically linked in March 2025. The couple announced in July 2025 that they were expecting their first child together.
Their daughter, Scottie Rose, was born Dec. 12, 2025, and was named after Davidson’s father, Scott Matthew Davidson, a New York City firefighter who died while responding to the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
In a March interview with PEOPLE while promoting his Crocs campaign, Davidson opened up about embracing fatherhood.

“Dad life is f—ing awesome,” the comedian said. “It is exhausting and rewarding and cute. And I’m very lucky because Elsie is a fantastic mom, and I can’t stress enough how lucky I am.”
Davidson also shared how becoming a father changed his mindset. “It’s funny. It’s like I didn’t understand this. You’re just ready to fight anyone,” he said. “It’s like, chill out. No one’s doing anything to your kid.”
The former Saturday Night Live cast member added that he had recently gotten Scottie’s name tattooed near his ear.
Since welcoming Scottie, the couple has shared glimpses of their daughter on social media while choosing not to publicly reveal her face.
On March 6, Hewitt marked Scottie turning 12 weeks old with an Instagram post reflecting on the day she was born.
“my scottie girl is 12 weeks old today. on the way to the hospital we wrote down our predictions for what time she’d be born,” Hewitt wrote. “my guess was 3:05pm (my birthday, 03/05). after 23 hours of labor, that is the exact time she arrived. how crazy and cool is that.”
