Chase Infiniti Is ‘Having Fun’ Dating Tyriq Withers

Withers described himself as “such a relationship-oriented person” in a March interview

Chase Infiniti and Tyriq Withers are dating!

The One Battle After Another star, 26, and Reminders of Him actor, 27, have been seen spending time together at a number of events in recent weeks. Now, a source close to Infiniti confirms with PEOPLE that the pair is indeed an item.

“Chase is having fun and dating,” the source tells PEOPLE. “She’s in a really good place and enjoying herself like any young woman.”

Reps for both actors didn’t immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Just Jared recently published photos of Infiniti and Withers visiting Audi’s F1 team garage at the F1 Grand Prix in Miami on May 2. The pair were also photographed together at GQ‘s post-Met Gala party on May 4, which Infiniti cohosted alongside Damson Idris, LISA from Blackpink and Paul Anthony Kelly. Withers also attended the premiere of Infiniti’s recent Hulu series The Testaments on March 31. Kerry Washington even posted a selfie to Instagram featuring herself with Withers and Infiniti at the NAACP Image Awards back on Feb. 28.

At the Academy Awards on March 15, Infiniti laughed when she fielded a question from Entertainment Tonight about people on the internet “shipping” her and Withers as a couple.

“So? The internet is the internet. I don’t know,” she said with a laugh. “Listen, I credit a lot of it to also — I feel like Kerry Washington has kind of pulled the two of us together in a lot of this. So we’ve just been seeing each other so frequently, and then also with Miles [Caton, from Sinners] as well. But it’s been kind of cool because having Miles and having Tyriq and other Black young Hollywood…members of that community. I want to make sure that we all stay [friends].”

Infiniti shot to stardom in the last two years after she made her onscreen debut in the Apple TV series Presumed Innocent and costarred with Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn, Teyana Taylor and Benicio del Toro in One Battle After Another, which won six Oscars — including Best Picture — in March. Withers made his own onscreen debut in a 2021 horror movie titled Horror Noire, but similarly saw his star rise over the last year with roles in 2025’s I Know What You Did Last Summer reboot, the horror movie Him and the romance Reminders of Him.

“I haven’t really dated post-fame,” Withers told Cosmopolitan in an interview published on March 13. “I don’t even view it as…it’s so mind-blowing to me that people have seen my work and, like, get excited about my work. I don’t even think I have fame. I don’t know, it’s weird. But I’m excited to see how that is.”

The actor described himself as “very much intimately single” at that time and said he is “such a relationship-oriented person.”

“I yearn — and that is my superpower but also my biggest flaw. I am a loverboy,” he said. “I’m a Cancer, so you know how we get. I’m not interested in surface-level things. On a date, I’m like, ‘What sets your soul on fire?’ I’m just looking for love. But when you tap into self-love, then love finds you.”

Withers will next appear on the big screen in an upcoming thriller titled Family Secrets.

Infiniti, meanwhile, will next star in a coming-of-age movie titled The Julia Set with Christopher Briney, Gillian Anderson, Jason Isaacs and Chloe Bailey, among others.
