Orlando Bloom has returned to Mallorca, this time with his new girlfriend, Swiss model Luisa Laemmel, as the couple begin what appears to be a luxury summer getaway around the island. The British actor, 49, and the 28-year-old model arrived at Palma Airport on Wednesday aboard a private jet after spending several days in Italy.
The couple are understood to be joining American billionaire and film producer David Geffen aboard his superyacht Rising Sun, which has been cruising off Mallorca’s coastline in recent days. A waiting vehicle transferred them directly from the airport to Puerto Soller, where the yacht was anchored.

Airport ground handling staff attempted to shield the pair from photographers by positioning service vehicles around them as they left the terminal. The precaution appeared to surprise Bloom, who is accustomed to media attention, although photographers remained at a respectful distance throughout the arrival.
Bloom kept a low profile in a casual summer outfit, wearing sunglasses and a baseball cap, while Laemmel opted for a black sleeveless top, a flowing boho-style skirt and sandals. Their journey to Puerto Soller took almost an hour due to heavy traffic on the motorway and Palma’s ring road, which has experienced significant congestion in recent days.

The actor’s relationship with Laemmel comes less than a year after his split from singer Katy Perry, with whom he shares a daughter. Bloom also has a son with Australian model Miranda Kerr. Although the new couple have made little public comment about their romance, they have been photographed together on several occasions over the past few months. Laemmel, who divides her time between New York and Europe, has worked on campaigns for fashion brands including Calvin Klein and has built a successful career as an international model.
Bloom remains one of Britain’s best-known Hollywood actors after rising to global fame as Legolas in The Lord of the Rings trilogy before starring as Will Turner in the Pirates of the Caribbean films. His career has also included roles in Troy, Kingdom of Heaven, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies and Gran Turismo.
Mallorca continues to attract a long list of international celebrities during the summer months, with luxury yachts anchored around the island and high-profile visitors regularly choosing the Balearics as their Mediterranean holiday destination. Bloom’s latest visit is the latest example of the island’s enduring appeal among Hollywood stars and the international jet set.
