Mel C Reveals She Walked Down the Aisle to a Spice Girls Classic at Her Wedding
Mel C is paying tribute to her legendary girl group.
The 52-year-old Sweat solo star tied the knot with Chris Dingwall last month, and she just revealed that she honored the Spice Girls during her wedding ceremony.
During an appearance on The KIIS Network’s The Smallzy Show, she spoke about her special day, revealing that she and her husband walked up the aisle to a string quartet rendition of “2 Become 1.”
“I’d love to create another headline. It’s true that you walk down the aisle to ‘Wannabe,’ this is what I heard,” Smallzy began.
“No, I mean, that is not true,” Mel responded.
“Okay. Well, I didn’t, but what I’ll do is I’ll give you an exclusive…when I was married, I walked back up the aisle with my husband to ‘2 Become 1’, played by a beautiful string quartet,” she went on to reveal.
“You know, it was a little bit of fun, but it’s also obviously beautiful song. I have some friends, a beautiful string quartet that I’ve worked with in the past, and they played for us on the day. So yeah, it was really, really special. But music obviously was a really big part of the celebration and, there was something for everyone. So many of my friends and family and Chris‘s friends and family are huge music lovers, so we satisfied everyone.”
