Baywatch’s Stephen Amell & Brooks Nader Hit the Beach Again, But This Time in France!

Baywatch stars Stephen Amell and Brooks Nader are back on the beach, but not in their red bathing suits this time.

The co-stars paid a visit to the FOX Beach House during the 2026 MIPCOM Market event on Monday (October 12) in Cannes, France.

Stars from FOX television shows are in France right now helping the network sell their shows to international markets. Stephen and Brooks were joined by model Christie Brinkley, who was there to promote her upcoming three-part docu-series Uptown Girl: The Christie Brinkley Story.

FYI: Brooks is wearing an Herve Leger dress.

What is the new Baywatch about?

Here’s a synopsis, via Variety: “The wild child Hobie Buchannon we all loved from the original series is now a Baywatch captain, following in the footsteps of his legendary father, Mitch. Hobie’s world is turned upside down when Charlie, the daughter he never knew, shows up on his doorstep, eager to carry on the Buchannon family legacy and become a Baywatch lifeguard alongside her dad. OG heartthrob Cody Madison now runs The Shoreline, the unofficially official Baywatch bar-and-grill, and still puts on the red trunks for the occasional shift saving lives. He’s a mentor to and a friend, providing a second home for his fellow lifeguards… and always offering free wings after a big save.”

When does it premiere?

Baywatch is currently scheduled to debut on Fox in January 2027 and will be available for streaming on Hulu. Watch the first teaser trailer!

In the new reboot, Stephen Amell plays the son of Mitch Buchannon (David Hasselhoff), serving as Baywatch Captain, with his own child arriving to also carry on the family legacy.

Brooks is playing a character named Selene.

While the network has not revealed a decision on the future of the show yet, LA city officials have seemingly given an update on the status of a second season.
