Spider-Man Star Jacob Batalon and Wife Veronica Leahov Celebrate Their Marriage with 3-Day Wedding in France

The intimate celebration was attended by 56 guests, including the groom’s married costars Tom Holland and Zendaya

Jacob Batalon and Veronica Leahov said “I do” — again!

The actor, 29, and the interior designer, 34, first tied the knot in a private courthouse ceremony and have not shared the date publicly. After Batalon’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day global press tour, the newlyweds commemorated their marriage with their families and closest friends during a “timeless, romantic and elegant” three-day wedding celebration in the south of France from Aug. 25–27.

“We always knew we wanted our wedding to be more than just one evening,” Batalon and Leahov exclusively tell PEOPLE. “We wanted it to feel like an experience, a few beautiful days where everyone we love could slow down, be together and celebrate with us.”

The bride and groom were joined by 56 guests, including Batalon’s Spider-Man costars Remy Hii, Zach Barack and Tony Revolori as his best men. Tom Holland sat in the second row with his wife, Zendaya, and across the aisle was the couple’s beloved pet maltipoo, Vulpix, in the arms of a bridesmaid.

“Keeping the celebration intimate was really important to us,” Batalon and Leahov share. “We wanted to be surrounded by the people who are genuinely part of our lives and to actually have time to enjoy the weekend with everyone.”

They continue, “Having people we love travel from different parts of the world to spend those three days with us made everything even more meaningful.”

The festivities were held at Château de Tourreau in Sarrians from Tuesday, Aug. 25, to Thursday, Aug. 27, kicking off with an al fresco pizza welcome dinner beneath string lights and concluding with a farewell brunch and pool day. Batalon and Leahov were drawn to the historic 18th-century luxury estate because “it felt like its own little world” and is in the heart of Provence.

“There is something incredibly romantic and timeless about the south of France,” they say. “We fell in love with the landscape, the architecture, the summer light and the effortless elegance of Provence.”

The pair were hands-on with wedding planning, and had “an immediate creative connection” with their artistic destination wedding planner, Wanderlust Wedding. The process was “a true collaboration,” resulting in a celebration that the couple says “felt completely like us” and was “a dream come true.”

“Veronica’s background in interior design and my love of fashion meant that we both had strong ideas and were very involved in every creative detail,” says Batalon, who has played Peter Parker (Holland)’s best friend, Ned Leeds, for nearly a decade in the Spider-Man movies.

It was most important to them that their guests “feel something.”

“We cared about the design and every little detail, but the feeling of the weekend mattered even more. We wanted it to feel warm, emotional, intimate and full of love,” they explain. “It was really important to us that everyone who traveled to France felt welcomed and taken care of. Having a three-day celebration also gave our families and friends the opportunity to really spend time together rather than everyone coming together for only a few hours. At the end of the day, we wanted to look around and see everyone we love laughing, dancing, eating, talking and making memories together. That was what mattered most.”

The couple exchanged handwritten vows outside and were married by their pastor, Peter Madan, on Wednesday, Aug. 26. They tell PEOPLE, “Neither of us heard the other’s vows before the ceremony, so hearing those words for the first time while standing together was one of the most emotional moments of the entire wedding.”

Batalon and Leahov were showered with flower petals as they walked back down the aisle together, hand in hand. The VEROH founder wore a strapless corset wedding gown by Galia Lahav, and later changed into a long-sleeved lace dress by the same designer. Meanwhile, Batalon opted for a classic black tux from Suitsupply for the ceremony and changed into a white suit jacket for the reception.

They shared their first dance to “All That Really Matters” by Illenium and Teddy Swims.

There were live musicians and performances throughout the wedding, plus a magician, live painter and fireworks display.

“There were moments when we would look around at this beautiful château in Provence and see our families and closest friends together in one place and almost couldn’t believe it was actually happening,” Batalon and Leahov tell PEOPLE. “But what made it feel like a fairy tale wasn’t just the château, the flowers or how beautiful everything looked. It was the amount of love we felt around us.”

They continue, “When we finally went back to our room at the end of the night and it was just the two of us, all of the emotions hit us. We had spent so much time imagining what that day would feel like, and somehow actually living it was even more beautiful and emotional than we imagined.”

Batalon and Leahov met through mutual friends in October 2023 and went on their first date a few weeks later. They’ve been together ever since.

“From the beginning, everything between us felt very natural and easy,” they tell PEOPLE. “Our relationship grew organically, and somewhere along the way we became each other’s person and best friend.”

Batalon proposed to his now-wife in New York City on March 1, 2025. The couple announced their engagement four days later on social media, sharing photos of the romantic nighttime proposal.

“The beginning of the rest of our lives together❤️‍🔥♾️🔐👸🏼👩🏼‍❤️‍👨🏽🤞🏽🌎,” the Reginald the Vampire alum captioned his engagement announcement post on Instagram. At the time, Leahov wrote in her own Instagram post, “A lifetime of us!!!! I never imagined my heart could hold so much love and feel such depth of emotion. This is the purest happiness I’ve ever known, and I can’t wait to spend forever with the love of my life!!💍♾️❤️‍🔥.”

The couple will disappear to a secret tropical location for their honeymoon to “unplug” and “just enjoy being newlyweds together.” Afterward, they’ll continue building their shared life.

“Marriage feels like the beginning of another beautiful chapter for us,” Batalon and Leahov say. “We want to keep growing together, traveling, supporting each other’s dreams, building our home and eventually growing our family.”

They continue, “But we’re just as excited about the simple, everyday parts of married life. Getting to go through life with your best friend is what feels the most special.”
