Simone Biles Calls Out Prices for Glam Squads, Reveals How Much She Paid for Recent Event

Simone Biles is calling out the crazy price that celebrities have to pay for their glam squads.

The 29-year-old Olympic athlete posted a TikTok video on Monday (April 27) to talk about the bill she received for a recent event she attended.

“I just need to know if this is normal. Because I know going outside is expensive as f–k these days, but is it this expensive?” she began.

“I just recently had a red carpet event. With the stylist fee, hair and makeup team, my grand total… probably higher than what you’re thinking… $22,000. Actually, 23,” Simone said.

She continued, “I just want to know. Is that f–king normal? I get inflation. I get prices these days have gone up, but if that’s the new norm, y’all can have it. Ya’ll will never see me at another event. I’m going to sit my ass right here where it’s free. I’ve been kind of spiraling since then.”

Simone asked fellow celebs, athletes, and influencers for input, adding, “I see y’all at a lot of these events, and there’s no way you’re paying these prices each and every time.”

While Simone didn’t name the actual event, she attended the Laureus World Sports Awards last week in Madrid. It was her only red carpet event in the last couple months.
