Red Carpet Rundown: SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY New York Photo Call

Zendaya and Tom Holland got back into their Spidey-fits and joined their Spider-Man: Brand New Day co-stars for the New York photo call.

It’s so refreshing to see her working some real goddamn FASHION instead of goofy-ass Party City Halloween party costumes that we’re willing to forgive the spider web earrings. Besides, they’re almost kind of fabulous. No “almost” about the rest of the outfit, it’s straight-up fire and it may be our favorite look of hers all summer. Love the eye makeup. We think she’s so much better suited to these big, splashy IP promo tours than the prestige drama ones.

It’s fine, we guess. Very much in that “I’m just a hard-working lad” mode he desperately wants to convey. Our only real quibble is with the mismatched reds. They don’t really work.
Jon Bernthal

Not even he can make that waist work. Also, the hair looks terrible.
Jacob Batalon

It’s fine, although we think the proportions on the jacket are bad. It should be longer on him and less boxy. We also can’t say the artfully stained pants work either because they just look dirty.
Sadie Sink

We don’t like the dress design — and we HATE the shoes — but that color looks amazing on her.

ABOUT THE MOVIE:
After the record-breaking global success of SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME, SPIDER-MAN: BRAND NEW DAY marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man. Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he’s devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.
