Hilary Swank is showing off her baby bump for the first time since announcing she is expecting her third child!

The 52-year-old Yellowjackets actress was all smiles as she stepped out on Thursday, Oct. 15, in New York City in a belly-baring top, showing off her growing belly. Just one day earlier, Swank revealed her pregnancy news with a video on Instagram.

In the clip, Swank’s family dances with the lights off with glow sticks taped to their bodies. As her husband and twins dance, Swank then appears with a baby bump featuring a tiny glow stick-clad baby.

“A lot of people have been asking what project I’m doing next, this one releases in December. 😉👼🏼🫶🏼,” she captioned the video.

In an interview with PEOPLE to discuss HealthyBaby on Oct. 15, Swank tells PEOPLE she’s “feeling good” as she prepares to welcome her little one in December and that her baby is going to be “the best Christmas present.”

Swank first became a mom when she welcomed her twins Aya and Ohm with husband Philip Schneider in April 2023.

In the comments section of her post, the double Oscar winner insisted that “things happen in their time, not ours.”

Swank’s comments came in response to one of her 1.6 million followers writing, “At 39 im still single and childless. You are literally giving me hope that the life I want could still happen for me. Congratulations to you and your beautiful family.”

“Thank you! 🙌 It can!” Swank wrote in response. “I always go by the adage, things happen in their time, not ours, and that has always been the case for me. But of course trusting that, for me, has always been the hardest part. Wishing you unwavering trust and abundant beauty on your journey! 🙌🏽.”

In an interview with PEOPLE in May 2026, the Million Dollar Baby actress discussed her lobbying efforts for the California Bill AB 1901, which calls for more transparency in diaper ingredients, and also opened up how she feels she is in a “really blessed position” to be able to spend time with her kids how she wants to.

“It just worked out that I had babies this much later in life,” she said. “It wasn’t that I didn’t want them earlier. There were a lot of things that kept that from happening, and so I can really take time to be with them.”

Swank also reflected on becoming a mom later in life and how she parents now.

“I knew I wanted kids someday, but I wasn’t planning what that would look like,” she told PEOPLE. “I know it’s so different for everyone, but for me, if I had had a kid in my 20s or my 30s, I think I’d be a much different parent than I am now.”

“I feel like I have that more kind of ability to really give them my attention in a way that I wouldn’t have as much at that point because it would’ve been pulled between the two in a very distinct way,” continued Swank. “In my career being so established, I have the ability to kind of step in and step out when I choose, and that is just such a blessing.”
