Lisa Kudrow Reveals the One ‘Friends’ Request She Refuses to Do for Fans
Lisa Kudrow is revealing what she won’t do for fans of Friends.
The 63-year-old actress spoke out about the beloved NBC sitcom, which aired for 10 seasons between 1994 and 2004. She starred as Phoebe Buffay on the series alongside Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer and the late Matthew Perry.
During an appearance on Fresh Air with Terry Gross & Tonya Mosley, she reflected on her time on the series, saying she has “zero complaints about Friends or anything to do with it.”
“Just the relationship with the other actors; we had fun. That is so rare. And real honest respect, mutual. It was a really good relationship that took some work, and we did the work. It was great.”
She also shared that she and her co-stars “made sure” to bond between takes.
However, Lisa revealed there is one Friends-related request she won’t fulfill for fans.
“Sometimes people will stop me and say, ‘Oh, sing ‘Smelly Cat.’’ I don’t want to do that. I really don’t want to do that,” she admitted, referring to Phoebe’s famous song from the series.
