Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson Have a ‘Dawson’s Creek’ Reunion at the ‘Brunello: The Gracious Visionary’ Event

The two actors attended Tuesday night’s gala in New York City.

Joshua Jackson and Katie Holmes reunited at the “Brunello: The Gracious Visionary” gala on Tuesday night in New York City, both decked out in designs by the couturier.

The “Dawson’s Creek” alums styled black tie attire for Tuesday night’s event, with Holmes creating an effortless aesthetic with her high-waisted maxiskirt and off-the-shoulder white bodice from the Italian luxury fashion house. The skirt of Holmes’ look featured allover shimmering details, encrusted in a textural style for added contrast to the bodice of her look.

The white dress shirt Holmes wore featured an asymmetric off-the-shoulder style, with a strap from her black chemise on her shoulder. The look personified contemporary elegance while still staying true to Holmes’ oft styled quiet luxury aesthetic.

Jackson, meanwhile, opted for a pop of color with his attire. The actor wore a pair of gray trousers with black shoes and a single-breasted blazer with sharp lapels in a shade of red. The vibrant tone contrasted the charcoal gray bowtie and trousers, and juxtaposed further the white dress shirt Jackson wore to complete his black tie attire.

Holmes and Jackson, who both starred together in the American teen drama series “Dawson’s Creek” from 1998 to 2003, joined a bevy of high-profile guests for Tuesday night’s gala, including Naomi Watts, Oscar Isaac, Martha Stewart, Helena Christensen, Shonda Rhimes and Grace Gummer, among others.

Tuesday night’s event, hosted by the designer at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center, featured a special screening of the documentary film about Cucinelli’s life. A celebratory dinner followed the screening.

The film held its world premiere at Cinecittà, a studio in Italy, in December 2025, featuring several friends of the fashion house, including Jessica Chastain. “His entire life’s work is an act of devotion, devotion to his family, to his community, to craftsmanship, and he built a global luxury brand without abandoning the values that he grew up with. That’s very inspiring to me,” the Oscar-winning actress said.

“If you don’t remember your roots, where you come from, your moral compass, I mean, it’s easy to get lost in this world, especially in a time like today. It’s incredibly important. And also his commitment to nature, to sustainability, it’s a beautiful thing to see.”
