Justin Baldoni attends ‘DWTS’ taping as guest of longtime friend Julianne Hough
Justin Baldoni danced his way back into the Hollywood spotlight with his friends and family by his side.
Prior to Tuesday night’s episode, sources close to “Dancing with the Stars” production shared exclusively with Page Six that the actor would make his first major public appearance in the ballroom audience for Tuesday night’s Super Bowl-themed show.
“Justin’s wife Emily and their two kids will be with him. They’ll be special guests of Julianne Hough who is a longtime family friend,” insiders told us.
Having worked together on the set of “My Last Days” in 2016, Baldoni, who directed the show, and Hough have been friends for over a decade.
The “Dancing with the Stars” co-host even tapped Marinda Davis, one of the women profiled in the CW series, to choreograph a dance during Season 25 of the ABC reality show that Hough herself performed.

Before attending the taping Tuesday, the Nashville based family of four spent their weekend in Los Angeles at Universal Studios celebrating their son Maxwell’s birthday with some of their cousins.
Although the director has kept a relatively low profile over the last couple of years, he’s been spotted enjoying time with his loved ones.
Over the summer, Baldoni took his kids overseas to Europe where they went to the UK, Iceland and Scotland. During their trip, Baldoni shared snapshots of photos with his followers, including riding Harry Potter’s broom during a special studio visit.
“Epic Daddy-kids trip through the UK,” Baldoni posted.

In January 2025, the family vacationed in Hawaii with close friends. They were also spotted on social media later that year at Disney World in Florida where they seen dining with characters.
Baldoni also shared a photo on set last month reuniting with his “Jane the Virgin” co-star, Gina Rodriguez, for her directorial debut in “House of Guerrero.”
In the caption that was shared with his followers, Baldoni hugged Rodriguez celebrating “Day 1” of filming of the project that he’s producing alongside his production company, Wayfarer Studios.
The actor’s return to the spotlight has been a long time coming.

In December 2024, Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni and Wayfarer Studios, accusing them of sexual harassment on the set of their film, “It Ends With Us.”
In the suit, the actress also alleged Baldoni and Wayfarer participated in orchestrating a smear campaign against her.
Baldoni and Wayfarer denied all allegations and countersued Lively, her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and others involved for defamation and extortion for $400M.
In May, the case was settled out of court with no finances being exchanged between either party, though Baldoni was ordered to pay a portion of Lively’s legal fees.
