Irina Shayk and Devin Booker Newly Dating and ‘Like Each Other a Lot’

An insider told PEOPLE that the model and NBA player have been “trying to spend a lot of time together this summer”

Sparks are flying between Irina Shayk and Devin Booker.

Following reports of the duo being spotted in the Hamptons, a source tells PEOPLE that the two have been spending time together this summer.

“Devin Booker and Irina are dating,” a source tells PEOPLE. “It’s very new, but they like each other a lot.”

The insider continues, “They were introduced by mutual friends a few months ago and are trying to spend a lot of time together this summer before Devin has to start training for the season.”

“Expect to see Irina at some of his games,” the source adds of the Phoenix Suns star. “She is very into him.”

PEOPLE reached out to reps for both Shayk and Booker but did not immediately hear back.

Booker, 29, previously dated Kendall Jenner. He was first linked to the model, 30, in April 2020 when they were spotted on a road trip together to Arizona. They made their relationship Instagram official in February 2021 for Valentine’s Day. 

Soon after their two-year anniversary in June 2022, the couple briefly split, though they were spotted together soon after. By September, the couple was back together and showed some rare PDA at the U.S. Open. However, Jenner and Booker quietly broke up the following month.

“Both have incredibly busy schedules right now with their careers and they’ve decided to make that a priority,” a source told PEOPLE at the time, with another source adding, “They have a lot of love and respect for each other and wish only the best.”

Shayk was previously linked to Bradley Cooper. The low-key couple first started dating in spring 2015, though they made only a few public appearances during their relationship.

Cooper and Shayk welcomed a daughter, Lea, in March 2017. Two years later, PEOPLE confirmed that the pair had split after four years of dating. In the years after their split, they remained on good terms and kept a friendly co-parenting dynamic.
