Hilary Duff Debuts New ‘Holiday Things’ EP with 3 Original Songs, Shares ‘Complicated Relationship’ with Christmas

Hilary Duff just released her new Christmas EP Holiday Things!

The 39-year-old entertainer just announced the new music two days before, and now all five songs are out now.

On the EP, Hilary co-wrote three brand-new, original songs, including “All You Want for Christmas is Me,” re-recorded the Wham! classic “Last Christmas,” which she first recorded for her 2002 album Santa Clause Lane, and recorded a reimagined cover of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.”

Upon the EP’s release, Hilary opened up about her love/hate relationship with Christmas and the holidays.

“everyone who knows me knows I lovvvve and also have a complicated relationship with Christmas and the holiday season. I live for the Christmas spirit … traditions, music, decorations, sweaters, shopping, gingy bread houses and more more more … I also like it to be concentrated and back in my attic by Jan 1! So enjoy this EP,” she wrote on Instagram, adding, “let’s listen hard, then pack it away and hit it again next year! Enjoy! Love you all”

Holiday Things marks Hilary‘s latest music release of this year, following her new album luck… or something, and her song, “CATastrophe,” for The Cat in the Hat soundtrack.

Hilary is currently on tour in Australia and she is also set to perform at select dates on iHeartRadio’s upcoming Jingle Ball Tour. She also recently announced her The Lucky Me Tour has been extended through November 2027.
