Harry Styles Pays Tribute to Dolly Parton During Night One of His Madison Square Garden Residency
Harry Styles is honoring the late Dolly Parton.
If you didn’t see the sad news, the country music icon died at the age of 80, as revealed in a video featuring her nephew shared on Tuesday, August 25. It was later revealed that Dolly briefly battled cancer before her passing.
The following night, Harry, 32, hit the stage for the first night of his 30-date Together, Together residency at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
During the show, Harry briefly paused his performance to share a sweet tribute to Dolly.
“I just wanna give a proper thank you to all the musicians who have inspired me over the years — Dolly, we love you,” Harry said, as seen in a fan video posted on X.
“Thank you so much,” he added.
After Harry finished speaking, a recording of Dolly‘s “I Will Always Love You” played throughout the venue.
