Ethan Hawke Makes Rare Red Carpet Appearance With Wife Ryan Hawke, Daughter Indiana

Ethan Hawke attended the Deauville American Film Festival Sept. 4 alongside his wife Ryan Hawke and their daughter Indiana Hawke.

Expect nothing but greatness when Ethan Hawke steps out beside the ladies in his life.  

The Great Expectations star was joined by his wife Ryan Hawke as well as their 15-year-old daughter Indiana Hawke for a rare red carpet appearance at the Deauville American Film Festival in Deauville, France, Sept. 4.

For the occasion—where Hawke’s upcoming film The Weight was listed as one of the movies set to premiere at the event—the 55-year-old looked dapper in a jet-black suit and matching dress shoes. Meanwhile, the Training Day actor topped off his sleek look with a combed back hairdo.

But it was his plus ones who really stole the show. Indeed, Ryan—who wed Ethan in 2008—coordinated with her husband as she donned a black long-sleeve dress and matching heels. To accessorize, the producer wore dangly earrings, layered gold necklaces and a snakeskin clutch.

However, the real standout was the pair’s daughter, who radiated in a white dress featuring a keyhole cutout. To top off the look, the teen wore a gold and white shoulder bag as well as a pink cardigan on her arm.

Though the event marks a rare family outing for the trio, Ethan recently stepped out at another exciting event: his and ex-wife Uma Thurman’s daughter Maya Hawke’s wedding.

Indeed, the Dead Poets Society actor—also dad to Levon Hawke, 23, with Uma as well as Clementine Hawke, 18, with Ryan—reunited with his ex Feb. 14 to witness their daughter tie the knot with Christian Lee Hutson in a dreamy New York City wedding.

And two months after the nuptials—which also saw Maya’s Stranger Things costars including Finn Wolfhard, Sadie Sink and Joe Keery as guests—Ethan detailed the “incredible experience” of seeing his little girl walk down the aisle.

“It means a lot because she’s so happy and I love her husband,” Ethan told E! News at the Time100 gala in April. “I feel like a really lucky man to watch her be so happy and to know that she’s with somebody that I respect so much.”

And while the Alive star took pride in giving away the bide, he joked that he’s just glad to still be the most important man in at least one of his daughter’s lives.

“On my way here, my youngest daughter texted me and said, ‘You may be Time100 but you’re the number one most influential man in my life,’” Ethan mused. “And I thought, ‘Alright, not very many people would say that but I’m glad one of my kids does.’”
