Ed Sheeran & Wife Cherry Spotted in Bright Colorful Outfits for Taylor Swift’s Wedding

Ed Sheeran and his wife Cherry are going to be two of the most colorful guests in attendance at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s wedding!

The 35-year-old singer and his longtime love were seen holding hands while heading to the event on Friday afternoon (July 3) in New York City.

Taylor became friends with Ed Sheeran in 2012 after she wore his “Lego House” lyrics on her arm during a show in Australia. Their managers later introduced each other, leading to their collaboration on “Everything Has Changed,” featured on her Red album.

Over the years, they toured together and later worked together again on the song “End Game” for her Reputation album.

Ed told Apple Music in 2023, “I have long, long, long conversations with Taylor about stuff. I feel like she’s one of the only people that actually truly understands where I’m at. She’s a solo artist, she [performs in] stadiums.”

Ed revealed he learned about Taylor‘s engagement to Travis through Instagram.

“He doesn’t have a phone,” Taylor said on Fallon. “This is one thing I love about him. It’s very eccentric. Love it. But when I’m going through saying, ‘Hey, who should we call? Who should we FaceTime?’ I’m going through my texts and being like, ‘Who have I texted within the last like, month of my life? You have to email him or FaceTime him, and he has to find an iPad and they have to give it to him like he’s a child. This is one of my absolute favorite people on the planet. When the news came out, I was like, ‘We forgot to call Ed!’”

Ed and Cherry have been married since 2018 and are parents to two daughters.
