Connor Storrie In Talks To Join Halina Reijn’s ‘Please’ At A24

Connor Storrie continues to fill out his dance card following his breakout moment with Crave/HBO Max’s Heated Rivalry, as we’ve now learned he’s in talks to join Gracie Abrams and Tom Burke in Please, the A24 film from Babygirl and Bodies Bodies Bodies helmer Halina Reijn.

No word on the role to be played by Storrie. This is the second A24 project boarded by the actor in recent months, following the comedy Peaked from Molly Gordon and Allie Levitan.

The logline for Please remains under wraps. In addition to directing from her own script, Reijn will produce through her Man Up banner, alongside frequent collaborator David Hinojosa. A24 is also producing and financing the project, with Zach Nutman exec producing.

Storrie has broken out as one of the buzziest names of the moment with Heated Rivalry, a queer hockey romance based on the Game Changers book series by Rachel Reid, where he stars opposite Hudson Williams. The show is presently heading into its second season.

As we told you last month, Storrie is also expected to be seen starring opposite Melissa McCarthy in Turpentine, a forthcoming indie thriller from The Penguin‘s Craig Zobel. He is represented by CAA, Atlas Artists and Yorn, Levine, Barnes.
