Beyoncé Makes Rare Public Appearance with Daughters Blue Ivy & Rumi at Opening Knowles-Rowland House in Houston

Blue Ivy and Rumi Carter are joining their mom Beyoncé at a big event in Houston!

On Tuesday (October 13), the 45-year-old “Love On Top” entertainer made a rare public appearance with her daughters as they celebrated the opening of their Knowles-Rowland House in her hometown of Houston, Texas.

For the event, Blue, 14, wore a green jersey top with gray jeans and dark heels while Rumi, 9, donned a black cardigan with white trim over a black dress. For her part, Beyoncé wore a curve-hugging tan dress.

Also in attendance were Beyoncé‘s mom Ms. Tina Knowles and longtime close family friend Kelly Rowland.

The ladies were all joined on stage by community members as they officially opened the 31-unit permanent supportive housing facility, which was redeveloped after it was damaged by Hurricane Harvey in 2017.

It’s unclear if Beyoncé‘s husband Jay-Z and their son Sir, 9, were also at the event as they did not appear on stage.

Blue‘s appearance at the event comes months after she made her Met Gala debut back in May at the big event alongside her famous parents.
