Alison Brie Looks So Different With Bright Blonde Hair Transformation
Alison Brie proved that blondes “do have more fun” when she unveiled her new light blonde hairstyle at the 2026 Daytime Beauty Awards in Los Angeles Sept. 9.
Alison Brie is glowing extra bright.
The GLOW alum showed off a major hair transformation at the 2026 Daytime Beauty Awards on Sept. 9, unveiling a striking light blonde ‘do while stepping out onto the red carpet.
The airy style, paired with her signature bangs, made her look radiant in a silky white gown at the Los Angeles event.
As the new blonde quipped on her Instagram Story, “They *do* have more fun?!”
Though this marks her blondest look to date, it’s not the first time the natural brunette has dabbled in lighter locks. She credited husband Dave Franco for inspiring her to mix it up in 2019 for his horror film The Rental, which she costarred in with Dan Stevens and Sheila Vand.
As she wrote on Instagram at the time alongside a selfie of her wavy bob, “When your husband asks you to ‘go blonde’ for a role…you say yes.”
But it’s not just hair that Brie has been highlighting as of late. The actress—who achieved her latest ‘do thanks to hairstylist Ricky Fraser—went on to present the award for Outstanding Achievement in Aesthetics to her esthetician Biba de Sousa at the award show, which also featured Sofía Vergara, Lucy Hale and Brian Austin Green.
“Biba changed my life. I used to be riddled with anxiety about my skin. Biba went through every product I was using and told me what to keep, what to toss,” Brie shared onstage. “And then she developed her own line of the best skincare products.”
The Community alum added, “I’m forever indebted to her.”

Indeed, discovering the best way to care for her skin—and her body as a whole—has been a work in progress for Brie, as she explained while marking her 40th birthday in 2023.
“I’ve been feeling really good and not freaking out about that age,” she told Vogue at the time. “There’s a stigma with it that some people kind of get nervous about, and for me, I feel just as youthful as I felt.”

In fact, Brie noted, “I feel much better than I felt in my 20s, honestly, because I was eating like s–t and really not taking care of my skin.”
But, she added, “[I] really used my 30s to hone all of that stuff and now honestly I’ve never felt better.”
