New Elle Woods Actress Lexi Minetree Rewears Reese Witherspoon’s 2014 Met Gala Dress to ‘Elle’ London Premiere

Lexi Minetree is playing a young Elle Woods in the new Prime Video series Elle and she has been rewearing some of Reese Witherspoon‘s red carpet outfits for the press tour!

The 25-year-old actress rewore Reese‘s 2014 Met Gala dress while attending the Elle UK premiere screening on Tuesday (June 30) in London, England.

Reese previously wore the pink Stella McCartney gown while attending fashion’s biggest night in 2014, over 12 years ago!

Lexi was joined at the event by her co-stars Chandler Kinney, Jacob Moskovitz, Gabrielle Policano, Zac Looker, and Tom Everett Scott, who plays Elle’s dad Wyatt Woods.

All eight episodes of Elle season one will be available for streaming on Prime Video on July 1 beginning at 3am ET / 12am PT.

A second season of Elle has already been ordered by Prime Video and filming is already underway. The cast is taking a break from production to promote season one.

What is Elle season one about?

Season one of Elle follows Elle Woods before she was a fish-out-of-water at Harvard. We meet her in 1995 as a fish in the tumultuous waters of high school where she encounters tricky friendships, forbidden romance, and questionable fashion choices. Through it all, Elle uses her family as a touchstone, and forms an even tighter bond to her mother, proving that they can get through anything life throws their way as long as they have each other. With each challenge she faces, Elle grows closer to the Elle Woods we know and love today.
