Dwayne Johnson is kicking off the global press tour for his new movie!
The 54-year-old actor was recently joined by tons of fans as he attended a special press event for his live-action Moana movie at The Walt Disney Grand Theatre in Shanghai Disney Resort in Shanghai, China.

For the fan event, Dwayne looked sharp in a white suit paired with a floral lei.
Dwayne then changed into a black and red floral-print shirt, with another floral lei, as he posed with his character Maui’s magical fishhook at a photo call.

What Moana is about?
Moana answers the Ocean’s call and, for the first time, voyages beyond the reef of her island of Motunui with the infamous demigod Maui on an unforgettable journey to restore prosperity to her people.

Meet the cast of the live-action adaptation
With Dwayne reprising his role as Muai, Catherine Laga’aia is taking on the role of Moana. The cast also includes Rena Owen as Moana’s revered Gramma Tala; John Tui as Moana’s no-nonsense father, Chief Tui; and Frankie Adams as Moana’s playful and strong-willed mother, Sina.
It was also just announced that Jemaine Clement is reprising his voice role from the animated movies. He will voice the giant, glitz-obsessed crab Tamatoa.
