Joe Jonas’ Summer 2026 Plans Include ‘Personal Time Being a Dad,’ ‘Working’ and ‘Trying to Get My Ass on a Boat’

The musician tells PEOPLE this summer season will include a “mixture” of different things to do

Joe Jonas is ready for a summer like no other.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, the musician, 36, reveals what his hopes and goals are for summer 2026.

“I’ve got a lot of plans with my brothers,” Joe says, referring to siblings Kevin Jonas and Nick Jonas. “We’re going to be doing some touring. We’ve got a handful of shows that we have coming up.”

“And it’s going to be a mixture of taking some personal time being dad, doing that stuff, which I love,” he continues. Joe shares two daughters — Willa, 5, and Delphine, 3 — with ex Sophie Turner.

As for what else is on his summertime agenda? “I’m trying to get my ass on a boat,” Joe says with a laugh. “I’m trying to find myself in Europe. … I want to travel, and I love to travel even when I’m not working. So I’m going to try to go to Europe, or fun things like that, and get in the water as much as I can.”

Joe has led a busy lifestyle since he and siblings Kevin, 38, and Nick, 33, rose to fame in the mid-2000s through their group, the Jonas Brothers.

Last year, the family members embarked on their Jonas20: Greetings from Your Hometown tour. The concert series has kicked off again, with a final show scheduled in Ontario, Canada, on Aug. 8.

Recently, Joe’s partnership with Target, creating a “Curated by” collection, has been keeping him busy, as have recent surprise guest appearances at various music shows.

In April, he appeared during Teddy Swims‘ Coachella set to perform the Jonas Brothers’ hit “When You Look Me in the Eyes.” That same month, Joe reunited with his Camp Rock costar, and former girlfriend, Demi Lovato, during the singer’s It’s Not That Deep tour opener in Orlando.

Recently, Joe has taken his relationship with girlfriend Tatiana Gabriela to the next level. In a recent social media post, the star recapped a trip to Gabriela’s homeland of Puerto Rico, making their relationship Instagram official.
