BTS is BACK!
After a nearly six-year hiatus, the Kpop group – featuring members Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jung Kook – dropped their brand new album titled ARIRANG on Friday (March 20).
Here’s what their company BIG HIT previously said: “ARIRANG holds special significance as it marks the first album released by the group in three years and nine months and sets out the the direction the members will take moving forward.”
“The members were deeply involved throughout the songwriting and production process, infusing their own thoughts and identities while expressing the emotions and reflections they experienced along their journey.”
“Across 14 tracks, the album shares the honest stories BTS has long wanted to tell ARMY, who have been waiting for their full-group comeback. Filled with music that’s most true to BTS, the album serves as a heartfelt expression of gratitude to ARMY, who have remained by their side with unwavering support,” the statement continued.
“Lastly, we would like to express our sincere thanks to all ARMY who have waited for so long,” they concluded.
To promote the new album, BTS is set to embark on the Arirang World Tour, which is scheduled from April 2026 through March 2027. Before they hit the road on the new tour, the guys will be making their first late-night TV appearance since 2021 with a two-night takeover on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
BTS’ global live performance BTS: The Comeback Live | Arirang will be available for streaming for Netflix on Saturday, March 21 at 7am ET. Their feature documentary, BTS: The Return, debuts March 27 on Netflix as well.
