‘Scarpetta’ Stars Jamie Lee Curtis & Nicole Kidman Tease Season 2 in New Behind-the-Scenes Video

Scarpetta stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Nicole Kidman, Simon Baker, and Bobby Cannavale have shared a fun new video teasing season 2 of the Prime Video series!

The crime thriller series based on the novels by Patricia Cromwell premiered on March 11 with its eight-episode first season. Amazon gave a two-season order up front, so the cast is already hard at work filming season 2.

Jamie says in the video, “We’re the cast of Scarpetta, and guess what? Season 2, we’re in the middle of it!”

Nicole lets out a cheer in the background.

“We’re having such a good time, thank you so much for your loving support,” Jamie continues, with Nicole chiming in, “We’re so grateful.”

“Here’s the thing, we all know who’s at the door and you don’t,” added the Everything Everywhere All at Once star, referring to the big cliffhanger at the end of the season 1 finale when a shadowy figure appears at Dr. Scarpetta’s door after she’s brutally defended herself against a killer.

“Stay tuned,” Jamie teases, and then Nicole puts her hand over her mouth to keep her quiet to which Jamie delightfully responds, “Ooh, Nicole Kidman put her hand over my mouth!”
