Noah Wyle has a familiar face by his side in an upcoming episode of The Pitt.
The actor’s wife, Sara Wyle, is set to guest star on the April 2 episode of the HBO Max medical drama as ER patient Ashley Davis. The episode will also feature ER alum Mary McCormack as neurosurgeon Dr. Linda Conley.
Sara, 46, who has previously appeared in shows like Californication and Nip/Tuck, has occasionally collaborated with her husband, 54, over the years. Most recently, she appeared in a 2021 episode of Leverage: Redemption, which Noah stars in and directed.

Offscreen, the couple has been together for more than a decade. They met in 2010 and married in June 2014 at their home in California. They share a daughter, Frances, born in 2015, while Wyle is also dad to son Owen and daughter Auden from a previous relationship.
Wyle has frequently credited his wife for supporting him through the demands of his career. While accepting his win for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Drama Series at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards, he reflected on their close partnership and how they’ve learned on each other.
“I’ve been supported by an incredible wife and three great children all along the way,” he said, before adding, “Lastly, to my beautiful wife, Sara, happy birthday. I hope you’re enjoying your party.”

The actor has also spoken about how Sara helped him unwind after filming emotionally intense scenes for The Pitt.
“I was really asking a lot of my family during those latter episodes,” he told The Hollywood Reporter. “As soon as we finished, my wife sent me off for three days to go sit on a beach.”
Noah stars in The Pitt as Dr. Michael “Robby” Rabinovitch, an attending physician at a Pittsburgh hospital. Each episode of the series follows an hour of an emergency room shift, capturing the high-stakes realities of life inside the ER.

The series, which premiered its second season in January, has already been renewed for a third season.
Speaking to PEOPLE in October, Noah said the show has struck a chord with real-life healthcare workers.
“They feel that it contextualizes the work they do to their families and partners who they can’t often articulate it to,” he said. “I feel like that extra empathy it gives the support group around these workers is really invaluable.”
