Elton John Reunites with ‘Rocketman’ Star Taron Egerton on 79th Birthday!
Taron Egerton is surprising Elton John on his birthday!
On Wednesday (March 25), the 36-year-old Kingsman actor reunited with the EGOT winner to celebrate the “Tiny Dancer” singer’s 79th birthday.
“Rocket Man squared 🚀 A brilliant birthday surprise having @taron.egerton join us for lunch,” Elton wrote on Instagram along with a photo of himself and Taron sitting with their arms over each other’s shoulders at a restaurant.
“Thank you @davidfurnish for making today and every day feel special,” Elton continued, “and to all of you for the love, messages and support 💙✨”
In the comments section, Elton’s longtime friend collaborator Bernie Taupin wrote, “Agh that is so great❤️”
If you forgot, Taron portrayed Elton in the 2019 biopic Rocketman. For his portrayal of the music icon, Taron won a Golden Globe award.
