Quando Taylor Swift anunciou que teria uma música chamada “Ruin the Friendship” em seu álbum “The Life of a Showgirl”, surgiram imediatamente teorias de que a música seria sobre Blake Lively. Bem, não é.

Taylor e Blake passaram por um momento bastante público de tensão em sua amizade em meio ao drama jurídico em torno do filme “It Ends With Us”, no qual Taylor foi envolvida.

Bem, “Ruin the Friendship” nos transporta de volta aos tempos de colégio de Taylor e a música é sobre como ela tinha uma queda por um amigo de quem ela queria ser mais amiga.

Taylor relembra aquela época e percebe que teria sido melhor “arruinar a amizade” do que se arrepender de não saber como o relacionamento poderia ter sido.
