Adria Arjona Throws Some Shade at ‘Morbius’ Movie: ‘You Live & You Learn’

Adria Arjona was the female lead of the Marvel movie Morbius and it’s pretty clear that she is not a fan of the film, or at least of her performance in the project.

The 34-year-old actress played Dr. Martine Bancroft in the movie opposite Jared Leto as the title character. The movie also starred Matt Smith, Jared Harris, Al Madrigal, and Tyrese Gibson.

In a new interview for Josh Horowitz‘s Happy Sad Confused podcast, Adria threw some shade at the movie.

Adria was asked if there was a “silver lining” to being in Morbius and she put her hand over the microphone, joking that there was not one.

“Look, you live and you learn. It was a great experience. I got to meet Matt [Smith]. I think it’s funny. I think if you look at it with eyes comedy, I think there are sparks in there. I’m… I’m not so sure,” Adria said.

After finding out that Keanu Reeves has seen the movie, Adria seemed disappointed. She said, “Don’t break my heart. I think Keanu Reeves is amazing. I’ve never met him. He seems so lovely. And I really want him to think I’m, like, good. I don’t think he thinks I’m good. I’m going to get his email and be like, ‘Watch this instead!’”
