Vin Diesel’s Dolly Parton Tribute Goes Viral With ‘I Will Always Love You’ Cover
Vin Diesel showed off his vocal chops while paying tribute to the late Dolly Parton.
The 59-year-old actor was one of the many celebrities to honor the country music icon following her death this week.
Vin took to his Instagram account, sharing a black and white photo of Dolly, with an audio attached to the post, featuring him singing a cover of one of her biggest songs, “I Will Always Love You.”
During his recording, Vin appeared to get emotional as he sang the lyric, “Goddbye, please don’t cry,” in the second verse.
Dolly originally wrote and recorded the hit song in 1973 for her album Jolene, and Whitney Houston recorded her own version for the film The Bodyguard.

Following his post, the clip went viral, with many praising the actor’s singing abilities.
“Didn’t have ‘Crying to Vin Disel singing’ on my list today but here we are,” one person commented.
“One of the best covers of this song I’ve ever heard. Not because it’s musically perfect, but because it’s sung with the emotion that it should always be sung with,” another wrote.
A third person shared, “Vin, you never cease to amaze me. You are a man of many talents. A once in a generation actor, writer and now singer? Save some talent for the rest of us buddy!”
