Sandra Bullock is keeping home close to the heart.
The actress, 62, stepped out for the Aug. 26 premiere of Practical Magic 2 in London, where she debuted what appeared to be a new shoulder tattoo done in honor of her family, including her two children — so Louis and daughter Laila — and her late partner Bryan Randall, per E!.
A photo taken of the Oscar winner, who is starring in her first film in four years, gave a closer look at her new ink, which features the letters “L” and “B” as well as the number “2.” It was also in sight with Bullock dressed in a leopard-print strapless Givenchy gown for the event.

Randall, a model-turned-photographer who Bullock first met in January 2015 when he photographed her son Louis’s birthday, died in 2023. He was 57.
“It is with great sadness that we share that on Aug. 5, Bryan Randall passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with ALS,” his family shared. “Bryan chose early to keep his journey with ALS private and those of us who cared for him did our best to honor his request.”
Appearing on an episode of Jason Bateman, Will Arnett and Sean Hayes‘ podcast SmartLess, earlier this month, Bullock opened up about the loss of her significant other.
Randall “asked me not to share” his diagnosis, The Blind Side star shared. “I wasn’t allowed to speak about it. That was the request and I tried — I honored it.”
“I started grieving Bryan four years before he passed,” added Bullock, explaining that Randall “was ill for half of our relationship.”
“My person left a lot earlier than the body left,” she continued. “I don’t think I ever dealt with that until after he passed, because you’re just on this treadmill, you know?”
Bullock described herself as a “very good planner with illness,” but thought about her “two young kids that were navigating it, especially a little girl who saw [Randall] as a father figure.” (Bullock and Randall also co-parented his daughter from a previous relationship.)

Her kids Louis and Laila, now 16 and 12 respectively, were “absolutely aware” of the situation. “They could see. They have eyes. And, they are very, very astute kids,” Bullock said. “Very astute because they not only see the physical change, [but] there’s a behavior that changes in all of us.”
“Louis handled it very differently than Laila. About two years before Bryan passed, he saw it was a dynamic that wasn’t healthy for him to be around,” she explained. “So, he’s very evolved. He’s like, ‘You know what? I’m here for you.’ I didn’t want him to become the man of the family at that age. My job [was] to be both at that time.”
“Laila, on the other hand, was more bonded until about six months out,” she added. “And then she says, ‘Can you please say no when they call me over to go visit?’ And I said, ‘Absolutely.’ And I said, ‘But, if you do wanna go visit, I will come with you, and I will be right there. And if you tap out, I am right there.’”
