Justin Timberlake Shares Rare Family Photos of Sons Phineas, 6, and Silas, 11, in Summer Recap Post

The musician highlighted his recent family life with wife Jessica Biel and their two sons in an Aug. 18 Instagram post

Justin Timberlake is sharing a glimpse into his summer with family.

The 45-year-old actor-musician and father of two shared some rare snapshots of sons Silas and Phineas “Phin” Timberlake, whom he shares with wife Jessica Biel, in a new Instagram post recapping his summer so far.

In one photo from the Tuesday, Aug. 18, recap post, Phineas, who turned 6 in July, peeks out from behind a massive ice cream sundae. His eyes can be seen poking out from behind a cherry on top of the sweet treat in the photo shared by Justin, who, along with Biel, 44, keeps his sons’ faces covered or obscured in social media posts.

A different snap shows Phineas looking out at what appears to be a rodeo. The 6-year-old sported a cowboy hat while enjoying the sunny outdoor event.

Another picture in the post shows Justin patting Phineas on the head as the pair walk together on a golf course, sporting matching golf bags.

The couple’s older son, 11-year-old Silas, also makes appearances throughout his dad’s post. In one shot, he stands behind the musician at Mercer Labs in New York City. In another, he stands beside both his father and brother as they look out of what appears to be a hotel window.

“Been outside,” Justin captioned the post, which also features one photo of himself and Biel, along with a snap of the actress holding a freshly-caught fish.

Earlier in the summer, Biel — who has been married to Justin since 2012 — celebrated the musician on Father’s Day.

“Happy Father’s Day to the dad who is always ALL in,” she wrote alongside family photos at the time. “The one who turns ordinary moments into adventures and bedtime into comedy hour. The dad who is not afraid of the tears, the tender, quiet times, or the hard conversations.”

“Watching you be a father is one of my favorite things,” she concluded her post. “Our boys are so lucky to call you Dad. WE ❤️ U!”

Two years earlier, Justin shared a sweet message to his sons to mark the June holiday.

“I will always be there for you through your peaks and valleys… to lift you up and show you how high you can take this life and to pick you up when you fall,” he wrote to his sons on Instagram at the time. “Thank you for giving me my biggest purpose.”

The same year, Justin opened up about fatherhood during an appearance on The Tonight Show while promoting his album Everything I Thought It Was.

“Yeah, so four years and different from making albums before, because I would just go in for a block of time and say, ‘This is what we made, and this is what it is,’ “ Justin told Tonight Show host and friend Jimmy Fallon at the time. “And during the pandemic, you know, having our second son, which was unbelievable…”

“Shout out to Phin. We love you bud,” Fallon jumped in, referencing Timberlake’s son Phineas. “Oh, he’s so cute,” the musician added of his sons. “They’re both so cute.”

“They’re both so cute. You lucked out. Yeah, you got a good kid,” Fallon then told his friend, who admitted of his and Biel’s two sons: “They run our house. It’s crazy.”
