James Franco Reveals Long-Awaited ‘Alien Footage,’ Teases ‘More Footage Dropping Soon’

James Franco has fans very confused.

The 48-year-old actor has been posting cryptic videos on his TikTok since early June, teasing that he has something big coming.

His TikTok popped up on June 3, marking a major return to social media since he’s mostly been laying low since sexual misconduct allegations were made against him in 2018.

In the videos, James claimed he was afraid someone might be following him or prepared to make him disappear. The combination of clips has made his fans wonder if he might be preparing to tease a new movie project. Everything appeared to be leading up to the day of the big “reveal” on Monday (July 13).

When the day came, the Pineapple Express star uploaded a video showing him standing near a counter with a laptop in front of him.

“It was thrust upon me, I didn’t ask for this,” he said before eventually opening the laptop to reveal the “footage” in question.

The black-and-white video footage showed a supposed alien creeping around the yard and looking through the windows of James‘ house. A timestamp said it was taken on May 11, 2026 and multiple cameras picked up the “alien” peeking in windows and infiltrating the house.

At the end of the video, he added a teaser saying, “A lot more footage dropping soon! It get’s very crazy!!!”
