Pregnant Anne Hathaway Cradles Baby Bump, Carries Sarah J. Maas Novel During NYC Outing

Anne Hathaway is on the move.

The pregnant 43-year-old Mother Mary actress was spotted out and about on Monday (June 29) in New York City.

She was seen wearing an all-black ensemble and L’AGENCE’s Elle Patent Leather Mule, carrying a black Dior bag.

Anne was also holding a copy of a book from Sarah J. Maas‘ Crescent City series during her outing.

In the Crescent City series, half-Fae and half-human Bryce Quinlan seeks revenge in a contemporary fantasy world of magic, danger, and searing romance. There are three books: House of Earth and Blood, House of Sky and Breath, and House of Flame and Shadow.

Earlier this month, theOscar-winning actress announced that she is pregnant and expecting her third child with husband Adam Shulman.

Anne shared the exciting news on Instagram, posting video of herself walking in her living in a white dress, turning around and debuting a glimpse at her pregnant belly. This will be the third child for Anne and Adam, 45, who have been married since 2012. They are also parents to sons Jonathan, 10, and Jack, 6.

A day later on Tuesday, Anne was spotted arriving in a stunning all-red look at a press junket in New York City.

Anne has an insanely stacked schedule for 2026, having already released Mother Mary and The Devil Wears Prada 2. Her next project, The Odyssey, hits theaters on July 17.

In The Odyssey, Anne plays Penelope. Here’s a synopsis: “After the Trojan War, Odysseus faces a dangerous voyage back to Ithaca, meeting creatures like the Cyclops Polyphemus, Sirens, and Calypso along the way.”

As we await more details on The Princess Diaries 3, a producer on the franchise is offering a bit of an update.
