All the Stars at the New York City Ballet Spring 2026 Gala

Mick Jagger, Ashley Graham, Emmy Rossum, and more
Last night saw a celebration of dance at the David H. Koch theater in Lincoln Center, as stars united for the New York City Ballet’s annual spring gala, titled “Set in Stone: Creation & Preservation.”
Supported by Christie’s, the 2026 event featured the debut of Symphonie Espagnole, a number that was choreographed by the NYCB’s principal dancer, Tiler Peck, with costumes designed by Robert Perdziola.
Guest violinist Hilary Hahn performed alongside the New York City Ballet Orchestra. And the debut was followed by a special performance of Diamonds, the final act of George Balanchine’s 1967 ballet Jewels, with costumes made by Karinska. (2027 will notably mark the Diamond Anniversary of Balanchine’s piece.)
From the audience, stars like Ashley Graham, Emmy Rossum, Olivia Palermo, Fran Drescher, Diane Kruger, Sarah Hoover, and more took it all in. Not to mention, there was a special presentation from the honorary chair of the evening, Mick Jagger, who was joined on stage by surprise guest Jimmy Fallon (who managed to sneak in his best Jagger impression).
The evening raised $3.2 million, which helps support the company’s year-round work, while also going toward special family programs, public school residencies, and access workshops, as noted by executive director Katherine Brown.
It was an evening to honor not only ballet, but the arts in general (including fashion, with many of the stars decked out in Christie’s jewels), and so it was no surprise to see the stars coming out to support.
