Anne Hathaway Reveals Her Surprisingly Easy Trick for Looking ‘More Awake’ at the Oscars

Anne Hathaway is sharing an easy beauty secret anyone can do to look a little more “awake.”

She shared a video to Instagram on Monday (March 16) following the 2026 Oscars ceremony where many people were praising her for how youthful and stunning she looked on the red carpet.

In the video, Anne opens with a look at her face during the contouring process and joked, “This is The Witches 2. The return of the grand high witch. She figured out mouse life and she’s back.”

She’s referring to her 2020 film The Witches.

From there, she tells her hairstylist Orlando Pita to “show them our secret,” and then he demonstrates how he created two tiny braids on either side of the actress’ head and then pinned them back, hidden beneath the rest of her hair.

“And you look a little bit more awake. That’s the trick,” said The Devil Wears Prada star.
